I'm so glad you're here

Some of you have been receiving these emails for a bit, and some of you just joined after seeing me at KW Family Reunion in Atlanta — either way, I'm really happy you're here.

A few quick things I want you to know:

If you’re new here:

This post is part of an ongoing conversation about branding, marketing, and building a business intentionally — not quickly.

You don’t need to read anything else first.
Just start here.

We'll pick back up with the branding conversations soon…

If it felt like I hit pause for a minute  - you're not imagining it.

Life and business got a little full over here, and I wanted to do this work justice instead of rushing it!

A quick behind-the-scenes update

I recently traveled to Keller Williams Family Reunion, where I had the honor of speaking twice:

• On a panel: From Likes to Appointments
• And solo: Luxury Branding That Sells Before You Speak

It was one of those moments where I had to pause and think:

Wow -  this work matters.

Sharing what I've learned about branding, marketing, and visibility has become one of my favorite parts of what I do - and something I'd love to continue growing.

If you know a brokerage, team, or organization looking for a speaker on these topics, I'd love to be connected.

And now that I'm home, we're diving right back in.
In the meantime… here's something fun you can steal
While we gear up for the next part of the series, I wanted to give you something light, practical, and immediately usable.

The Hand Sanitizer Project (and why we did it)

A little backstory - because context matters.
We had a lot of snow days.
Then the flu made its way through our area.
Every parent in the county was very ready for the kids to go back to school

At the same time, we wanted a genuine, thoughtful way to engage our local teachers - especially since we were actively serving the assistant principal at one of our elementary schools.
This project was designed intentionally for that season.

And I want to be clear:

This is a school-based project.

If your kiddos aren't in school, or you're not connected to a school community, this may not be the right fit - and that's okay.
Not every idea has to be for everyone.
Where and how we used it (specifics matter)
We customized and packed 500 hand sanitizer bottles and delivered them to:

 Five local schools
 Our neighborhood preschool
A separate version for the Sheriff's Department
(where my son works)

We used the same idea, but customized the label and message for each group.

Why this project works
This wasn't really about hand sanitizer.

It was about:
• being practical
• being useful
• and creating a small, daily touchpoint that felt thoughtful - not salesy

It's the kind of branding people keep, use, and remember.
And that's the point.
Supplies (so you can copy this easily)
Here's everything we used for this project:

For every project, we decide early who it's for, how many we're serving, and how it will be used - and then we design from there.

Intentional at scale. Thoughtful in execution.

That's how you build sustainably.

For this project:
Teachers + the Sheriff's Department received hand sanitizers as a high-volume, practical thank-you (we distributed just over 500 across schools and the department)
Referral partners received a different version in a separate project designed for smaller, more targeted distribution (about 70 total)

Same appreciation.
Same care.
Different scale.

This is one of our favorite, easiest branding upgrades.
We use custom UV DTF logos from Jiffy -  they give you a professional, finished look without adding complexity.

You simply upload your logo, adjust sizing, and about 24 hours later they're in your hands.

They apply cleanly, quickly, and hold up beautifully.

We printed the cards through Canva, but a local print shop is also a great option.

We spend a surprising amount of time price-comparing - because let's be honest, I still haven't found a money tree in my backyard.

Over time, you learn what's most cost-effective to print locally and what's better to outsource - and that knowledge adds up fast.
Copy it. Tweak it. Make it fit your brand.

That's exactly what it's here for.
