Over the past few months, I’ve had an unexpected number of real estate agents reach out asking about our marketing, how we stay consistent, where our ideas come from, and what we’re doing behind the scenes.
At the time of writing this, more than 80 people have officially signed up to receive my weekly insights by email.
That response told me two things. A lot of agents want practical, realistic marketing ideas, and there’s a need for a space where those ideas are shared openly.
So I decided to start here.
A quick introduction
I’m Heather Spencer, Realtor, team leader, and the face behind Heather Selling Houses and The Heather Spencer Group.
I’m also a mom of six, a retired Army wife, and a Louisville native who runs on a combination of caffeine, calendar alerts, and genuinely loving people.
I got into real estate because I loved homes. I stayed because I love the people inside them.
A little of my journey
I’ve been a Realtor for 6.5 years and have closed hundreds of homes. Last year alone, I closed 60 transactions.
Still can’t believe I just typed that.
That’s not a flex. It’s context. I’ve been trusted with a lot of big life moments, and I take that responsibility seriously.
Why I’m willing to share what we do
I believe there is room for all of us to succeed.
Early in my career, I asked a well-known agent a simple Instagram question. His response made it very clear that sharing knowledge wasn’t something he believed in.
I remember how small that moment made me feel, and I promised myself I would never operate that way.
