If you know me, you know I will put my logo on basically anything.

BUT… I do have one rule:

It has to be classy
and it has to be something I would actually use.

Because if I wouldn’t personally use it, my clients definitely won’t either.

As realtors and business owners, we have so many opportunities to put something in a client’s hand - listing packets, closing gifts, pop-bys, event items, market reports, and more.

The goal isn’t more stuff… it’s better stuff.

Thoughtful branding doesn’t feel promotional - it feels helpful.

Here are some of the branded items our clients actually keep and use again and again.

🖊️ Pens (My Hill I Will Die On)

We use Sharpie S-Gel fine point blue pens for signing contracts.

They have to be blue ink (real estate professionals understand why), and these pens just feel different. Smooth, substantial, and memorable.

They are not the cheapest option, but they are worth it.

True story — I was in a needlepoint store back in the fall, and when the cashier saw my name on my credit card she said,
"Wait… I know you. I’m your neighbor. I got one of your Market Boxes… those pens are the best."

People notice quality

🗒️ Notepads and Post-it Notes

I love a good notepad.

Perfect for:
• school notes
• quick grocery lists
• scratch paper
• desk reminders

They are practical, easy to store, and something people reach for constantly.

When your branding shows up in everyday moments, it feels natural, not forced.

🧴 Branded Hand Sanitizer

We also branded hand sanitizer, and it quickly became a favorite.

It is one of those items people actually keep in their:
• purse
• car
• desk
• travel bag

Practical, useful, and something that gets used regularly.

Sometimes the best branded items are the ones that solve a small everyday need.

🕯️ Signature Candles

We have had a signature candle since day one, with a few iterations along the way.

Our current version is poured into mint julep cups made by a local pottery company, with our logo on the bottom. Because the vessel is beautiful and reusable, people are much more likely to keep it long after the candle is gone.

We have also used:
• silver mint julep cups sourced from restaurant suppliers
• small branded tins
• custom branded matches

Candles are something people genuinely enjoy, and when the container is worth keeping, your branding naturally sticks around.

👜 Quality Bags People Use Again and Again

I love giving buyers and sellers a great bag.

When jute bags were trending, we ordered beautiful ones that clients used constantly. When I visited Magnolia in Waco and saw Joanna Gaines offering the same style in her shop, I felt very validated in that decision!

Recently, we pivoted to an LLBean-style tote because these classic canvas bags are having a major moment again.

A well-made bag becomes part of someone’s everyday routine, which means your brand stays visible in a natural way.

Pro tip: many companies offer wholesale or bulk pricing, but you often have to ask. Don’t assume the retail price is the only option.

🥤 Drinkware People Actually Keep

Drinkware is one of the best places to invest in quality branding because people use it every single day.

We have used a few different approaches over the years:

• Yeti cups — yes, they cost more, but the quality is excellent and they last forever
• event cups — one year we hosted a fall event where guests received a branded token for a complimentary beverage served in a branded cup they could take home
• closing gifts — a great tumbler becomes part of someone’s daily routine

People take these to work, school pickup, sports games, road trips, and keep them on their desks.

When something is used this often, your brand naturally stays top of mind.

If something represents your business, it should reflect the level of quality you want associated with your brand.

📓 Apparel and Notebooks

We have recently branded:

• notebooks
• sweatsuits
• jackets
• pullovers

For apparel, I often purchase quality basics and then take them to a local embroidery shop to add our logo.

You are not limited to vendor catalogs.

Think outside the box.

📁 Everyday Brand Touchpoints

Other places our branding shows up:

• folders
• business cards
• keychains
• glass doors in our office
• bubble mailers
• Neon Signs

The key is consistency.

Pay attention to:
• logo size and scale
• color consistency
• font consistency
• quality of materials

Small details add up to a strong overall impression.

My Branding Rule

If it’s:
useful
beautiful
consistent
high quality

…it’s probably worth putting your logo on.

Logos don’t have to feel promotional — they can feel polished, helpful, and even enjoyable.

And honestly… it’s kind of fun to see what all you can put your logo on.
